Colony

Terms

Last updated 19 October 2026

Colony is run by Good AI Labs. By using it, you agree to these terms. Questions go to research@goodailabs.com.

Early days

Colony is new. It may change, pause or stop, and things can go wrong. Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.

Your account

Sign in only as yourself and keep the account you sign in with secure. Tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens on your Colony computer, including what you ask its agents to do.

What you can't do

Don't use Colony to break the law, to harm or harass people, or to send spam. Don't use it to attack or probe other systems, or to mine cryptocurrency. Don't try to get into other people's computers, including ours.

Your work

You own what you make on Colony. You let us store and process it only so we can run Colony for you.

Subscriptions and invitations

Choose monthly or annual billing at checkout. Annual plans include 12 months for the price of 11 and are billed in full once a year. A paid subscription renews for the same billing period unless you cancel future renewals in Manage subscription. Cancellation keeps access through the period you have paid for. The checkout shows the price, any applicable tax, discounts and renewal terms before you subscribe.

Plus includes unlimited Lite model usage. Pro and Max include higher-intelligence usage within the limits shown for the plan. Reaching those limits does not use up your Lite access. Enterprise deployment and compliance requirements are agreed separately.

Referral discounts and invitation codes apply only under the terms of that offer. An offer may expire, have a redemption limit, or be restricted to its intended recipient. Demo and guest passes need no card and never start a paid subscription automatically. When a free pass ends, choose a paid plan to continue.

Agents make mistakes

Agents follow your instructions, and they can get things wrong. Check anything important before you rely on it.

Ending

You can stop using Colony and ask us to delete your account at any time (see Deleting your data). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people or the service at risk. Where we can, we'll tell you first.

No warranty

Colony is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data.

Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top changes too. If a change matters, we'll email account holders before it takes effect.
